Help Us Build Something Special

This summer, Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is celebrating a very special milestone: Our 30th birthday. For three decades, your incredible generosity has transformed the lives of cancer patients and their families across our region.

To mark this big birthday, we are doing something a little different, and we would love you to be part of it.

We are creating a wonderful LEGO Garden Party scene that will become a permanent part of our much-loved LEGO model at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. Filled with birthday decorations, cakes, flowers, balloons and party guests, this unique display will celebrate thirty years of community support.

But this is about much more than a birthday celebration. Every single item sponsored will raise vital funds for our Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) Unit.

Your thank you pack

As a special thank you for your kindness, every sponsor will receive:

  • A personalised certificate showing your sponsored LEGO item.
  • A photograph of the completed LEGO Garden Party display once it is installed this August.
  • The wonderful knowledge that you are helping young people facing cancer receive vital support and opportunities.

Please note: LEGO images are for illustrative purposes only. Sponsored items within the final display may vary slightly in appearance, size or design from those shown.

Why your support matters

Thanks to your support, Clatterbridge Cancer Charity funds a weekly lunch club and a wide range of activities throughout the year. These opportunities allow young people to connect with others facing similar experiences, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and build lasting friendships.

From football matches and zoo trips to spa days and taking part in a podcast with FACT Liverpool, these experiences provide moments of fun, confidence and normality during treatment and recovery.

“The young people we support often tell us how much it means to meet others who truly understand their experiences. Whether it is sharing lunch together, enjoying a day out, or simply having the chance to laugh and be themselves for a few hours, these activities provide vital emotional support alongside their treatment. Every donation helps us continue creating these special moments, and we could not do it without the generosity of supporters like you.”

Emma Rodgers

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.

We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.

And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
