Prostate Cancer Fundraising Week

Get Active, Give Hope

Dates: 24th to 30th March 2025

Join us for a week of fitness and fundraising to support prostate cancer research and patient care. The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity invites you to participate in our “Get Active, Give Hope” campaign.

Together, we can make a difference!

How to get involved?

From March 24th to March 30th 2025, we are marking #ProstateCancerAwarenessMonth by getting active to support people with cancer across Merseyside, Cheshire and beyond.

Are you a member of a local sports club/team or do you want to challenge yourself to a fitness challenge? We want to hear from you!

Need some inspiration?

  • Special Fitness Classes: Run special fitness classes where a portion of the class fee is donated to the charity. Try Yoga, Zumba, Spin classes, Kickboxing, and more!
  • Personal Fitness Goals: Set a personal fitness goal for the week and collect donations. Whether it’s running a certain distance, completing a number of workouts, or achieving a new personal best, every effort helps.
  • Sports Tournaments: Get your team to hold a tournament during the week. From football to tennis, get your team together and play for people with cancer.

If you have any questions please fill out the form below and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible!

What your donations could do...

Clatterbridge Cancer Charity helps improve the lives of patients

£150

Could fund an art pack for 10 patients to use in their own room. There is huge scientific evidence to show that engaging with arts and crafts in beneficial for patients. Patients report less pain, reduced anxiety and stress.

£250

Could provide counselling support for patients who may be struggling. Each year 13,000 new patients are referred to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, and just as each cancer is unique, so is everyone's experience of treatment.

£550

Could fund 10 hours worth of life-changing cancer research. Research brings earlier diagnoses, better understanding of each individual patients' cancer and improves current treatments. Cancer research is vital for the future.

Emma Rodgers

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.

We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.

And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
