Virtual Gift | Arts Activities

Give a thoughtful and uplifting gift with this Virtual Gift: Arts Activities from Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. This meaningful donation offers a creative alternative to a traditional present while directly supporting local people affected by cancer.

Your gift could help provide someone undergoing cancer treatment with access to art or poetry classes during their hospital stay. These creative sessions offer a valuable moment of respite and distraction at a difficult time, helping patients express themselves, relax, and find comfort through creativity.

There is strong evidence that engaging with the arts during cancer treatment has significant therapeutic benefits. It can help reduce anxiety, ease stress, transform clinical environments into more welcoming spaces, and help combat feelings of isolation and loneliness.

By purchasing this Virtual Gift, you are supporting Clatterbridge Cancer Charity in delivering services across Merseyside, Cheshire, and beyond that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide. This includes essential services such as art therapy, research, and specialist equipment that improve patient care and wellbeing.

All donations are flexible and will be used wherever the need is greatest, ensuring your generosity has the widest possible impact for those affected by cancer.

A Gift That Inspires Creativity and Comfort

This Virtual Gift: Arts Activities is a powerful way to bring creativity, comfort, and connection to people undergoing treatment. It helps create moments of joy and expression during challenging times, while supporting the wider care provided by Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

Emma Rodgers

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.

We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.

And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
