The Arts in Health Programme at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in partnership with The Windows Project, delivers regular poetry sessions, writing collaboratively with people having treatment at our Liverpool site. The poems created during these sessions are provided for the writers to keep or gift. We received requests to share the poems created during these sessions, which is where the idea for a poetry anthology came from.
Our poets in residence Alison Down and John Hughes have curated the collection of poems for this anthology with permission from all our writers to share their work
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Arts in Health Programme offers a range of creative activities and performances for patients as well as a collection of artwork to enhance the environment of our centres.

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.
We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.
And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
