Always a hugely popular event in our events calendar, the Liverpool 10 Miler and the Half Marathon will take you through the city of Liverpool where you’ll be able to take in some of the most stunning and iconic buildings as well as Liverpool’s famous Sefton Park.

2026 marks the 32nd anniversary since the start of what was originally known as the Liverpool INTERNATIONAL Half Marathon back in 1994. And with the city now a firm visitor destination with people from across the world, the event equally certainly attracts runners from far and wide. It’s set to be another fantastic day in Liverpool.

Why We Need Your Help

By taking on this event you are helping us to deliver pioneering cancer care to patients throughout our region. 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer, but with your help we can be at the forefront of cancer treatments, and we can fund vital research, the latest therapies, and innovations in cancer treatment.

We are so often told that The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is unlike any other hospital. The Charity has funded a range of projects which help to to make Clatterbridge a place that stays in people’s hearts, including bringing cancer treatment closer to patients’ homes and breaking boundaries by becoming the first in the UK to offer a number of treatments.

Emma Rodgers

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.

We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.

And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
