It’s a piece of cake to host your own and help raise some much-needed dough!

What better way to enjoy those long summer days than getting together with friends and family to enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake in support of Clatterbridge.

In 1996, The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre introduced a charitable fund – for those patients, their families and our community who wanted to give something back for the incredible care it provides and Clatterbridge Cancer Charity was formed.

Today, thanks to the millions of pounds donated by you since 1996, The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is achieving so much for local people with cancer, which may not have been possible through NHS funding alone.

Donations to our charity help to improve facilities, fund ground-breaking research and develop new therapies which have shaped cancer care for local people.

Help us continue to go over and above for our patients by hosting your own Clatterbridge Tea Party! Anybody can take part: whether it’s a tea party with your nearest and dearest, cake and coffee with your neighbours, or a beige buffet at work, we hope that it’s the perfect way to get together and celebrate the lives of those who have survived cancer, remember lost loved ones, or just a great excuse to raise money while enjoying some tasty treats!

DONATE – We know times are tough for a lot of people, but if you are able to give, you can make a donation here

SOCIAL – It’s so easy to set up a Facebook Fundraiser or a JustGiving Page, ask your friends and followers to give a small donation.

Why We Need Your Help

By taking on this event you are helping us to deliver pioneering cancer care to patients throughout our region. 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer, but with your help we can be at the forefront of cancer treatments, and we can fund vital research, the latest therapies, and innovations in cancer treatment.

We are so often told that The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is unlike any other hospital. The Charity has funded a range of projects which help to to make Clatterbridge a place that stays in people’s hearts, including bringing cancer treatment closer to patients’ homes and breaking boundaries by becoming the first in the UK to offer a number of treatments.

Will you join Team Clatterbridge and make a difference to those with cancer in our region today?

Emma Rodgers

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.

We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.

And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
